India and China have been locked in a bitter standoff over a border dispute, along the Line of Actual Control. The situation has been tense ever since a skirmish between the armed forces of the two Asian nations happened in June, resulting in casualties on both sides. Ever since, the situation has only been escalating, despite talks at various levels to diffuse it. Even recently, the foreign ministers of India and China met at Moscow and released a 5-point consensus on the Indo-China border issue. However, there was not much regarding the de-escalation along the LAC and the situation there has not improved either. Both India and China are still reinforcing their troops and armaments at their bases along the border.

An investigation by a leading Indian media house has brought to light that a Shenzen-based technology company has been monitoring over 10,000 Indians. This company - Zhenhua Data Information Technology Co., is said to have strong ties to the Chinese Government and the Chinese Communist Party. Shockingly, the people being monitored by the company include some of the most prominent and influential people in India, across very diverse fields. The company also calls itself a pioneer in using big data for hybrid warfare. The investigation also revealed that the company has been monitoring its targets in real time and the targets include the Indian President Ramnath Kovind, PM Narendra Modi, Interim President of Congress Pary Sonia Gandhi, a number of Chief Ministers, Union Ministers, the Chief of Defence Staff Gen. Bipin Rawat, over 15 former Chiefs of India's armed forces, Chief Justice Sharad Bobde, many other judges, the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) Gen. GC Murmu, leading entrepreneurs and many others.

The list also includes bureaucrats in key positions in various departments, scientists, researchers, academicians, actors, journalists, sportspersons, religious leaders, social activists and even hundreds of people accused of financial crime, terrorism, smuggling, corruption and such. This investigation has unearthed that the Zhenhua company has been monitoring key people across different countries and amassing information from USA, UK, Australia, Germany, Canada, Japan and the UAE. The collected information had been stored in a massive dump of log files, which had been dubbed Overseas Key Information Database (OKIDB)! An unnamed source with details about this operation, reached out to the media in various countries and shared all this information about Zhenhua Data! This company also lists the Chinese Government and the Chinese Military to be among its list of clients. The OKIDB is said to have even built family trees of all the people it had been monitoring. At a time where India and China are engaged in a conflict, it is scary to know about OKIDB. Stay tuned for updates...
