Ratsasan is one of the most well-made action thrillers of Tamil cinema that released in the year 2018. Even Superstar Rajinikanth had called Vishnu Vishal and praised the film during the time of release - “‘FANTASATIC,FANTASTIC,FANTASTIC’ ‘Nadippu dhool kelapitingu’ ‘police unifrom le semma fit’ ‘villain yaaru? super body language’ dir n unga combo super.” Recently, the film was named as the No.1 Tamil film in IMDB’s ranking and 3rd in the ranking of India’s IMDB ranking. Fans are wanting to a sequel to this superhit thriller. Now Vishnu Vishal in his tweet has asked director Ram Kumar if the script for the sequel is ready and the director in his reply has stated that he is working on it. Wow, it looks like the sequel for Ratsasan is on. 


Actor Vishnu Vishal was originally a budding cricket player who has even captained current Indian Cricket team's leading off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin. However, a freak accident cut short Vishnu Vishal's cricket aspirations and he instead turned his focus to acting and is now one of the most talented, upcoming stars in Kollywood. Vishnu Vishal's last release was Silukkuvarupatti Singam, in 2018. He did not have any release in 2019 but has quite a few movies in hand, in various stages of production. His Kaadan, with Rana Daggubati playing one of the leads, has completed filming and is all set for release. Kaadan is a trilingual movie, which also stars Pulkrit Samrat, Zoya Hussain and Shriya Pilgaonkar. This movie has been titled as Haathi Mere Saathi in Hindi and Aranya in Telugu. It deals with the relationship between man and elephant. The shooting was in progress for his other film FIR, which is expected to resume once normalcy returns to the world. FIR is being written and directed by debutante Manu Anand, a former associate of director Gautham Menon. Reports state that this movie would be centred around terrorism and how a poor Muslim youth is unfortunately caught in difficult situations.
