Radikaa Sarathkumar has unfortunately lost one of her close family friends and she took to her Twitter page to share the news with her fans and followers. Radikaa's uncle, Cyril breathed his last recently and the ace actress mourned his demise on social media. Radikaa felt emotional about Cyril's demise and opened up about her rapport with him. She also mentioned that he (Cyril) sacrificed everything for her mother. Sharing a throwback picture with Cyril, Radikaa tweeted, "Cyril uncle or as we fondly call him- Cyril Anna. He was a integral part of our family, he bought us up and stood by us through the lowest of lows. He sacrificed everything for our mom and was her rock. Share so many memories with him that is hurts so much to say good bye! RIP".

On the professional front, Radikaa has several exciting projects in her line up. Her next release in Tamil will be the Atharvaa - Priya Bhavani Shankar starrer, Kuruthi Aattam, directed by Sri Ganesh of 8 Thottakkal fame. Radikaa is said to have got a meaty role in this rural action drama which is expected to release in theatres very soon. Radikaa has also acted in GV Prakash Kumar's Jail, directed by acclaimed filmmaker, Vasanta Balan. She is also a part of Gautham Vasudev Menon's long delayed action thriller, Dhruva Natchathiram, starring Chiyaan Vikram in the lead role. Radikaa will be seen sharing screen space with notable actors like Simran, R Parthiban, DD Dhivyadharshini, and others.

Radikaa will also be seen as one of the leads in music director James Vasanthan's debut directorial, Oh! Andha Naatkal. Radikaa Sarathkumar, Urvashi, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Khushbu play the leads in this film. There is also the Vijay Sethupathi - Taapse starrer, Annabelle Subramaniam (Unofficial title), in which Radikaa has played a pivotal character. Radikaa is currently focussing on her political commitments as the Tamil Nadu State Elections is all set to take place on April 6. Post the elections, Radikaa is expected to return to serials.
