In a shocking turn of events, a huge explosion attacked Lebanon's capital, Beirut on August 4. This massive explosion left the city in a destroyed state, damaging buildings, cars, stores, houses, apartments and people's lives. According to reports, more than 70 people have been killed and 4,000 people have been severely injured due to this accident. The numbers are expected to rise in the next few hours. The blast videos have been doing the rounds on social media and it is indeed very scary, terrifying and disturbing.

The entire world is shaken by the incident and people couldn't believe what they saw in the videos. Reportedly, this incident was caused due to 2,750 tons of Ammonium Nitrate chemical which was left unprotected for around six years inside a warehouse. Lebanese Prime Minister has stated that the people who were responsible for this incident will be punished. This unexpected tragic accident has happened amidst the Corona pandemic and things have just got worrying there. Various countries have extended their support to the people of Beirut and Lebanon and the netizens have started to trend hashtags like #PrayForLebanon to gain more support.
