Veteran Tamil Producer Arun Pandian's daughter, Keerthi Pandian made her acting debut in Tamil cinema with the jungle-fantasy film, Thumbaa, directed by debutant Harish Raam LH. Keerthi was paired opposite Kanaa fame Darshan in the film and her performance received very good reviews from the audience. The budding actress is now ready with her second outing. Keerthi Pandian's next film has been titled Anbirkiniyal and it is directed by Gokul who is known for directing movies like Rowthiram, Idharkuthaane Aasaipattai Balakumara, Kashmora, and Junga. The first look poster of Anbirkiniyal was officially released today (February 15) evening.

The first look was released by actor Karthi who wished the entire team of Anbirkiniyal for a grand success. Anbirkiniyal is the official Tamil remake of the critically acclaimed super hit Malayalam film, Helen that featured Anna Ben in the lead role. Helen received highly positive reviews for its engaging screenplay, strong performances, and beautifully captured emotions. The film was directed by Mathukutty Xavier and produced by Vineeth Sreenivasan.

Talking about the Tamil remake, Anbirkiniyal will feature Arun Pandian reprising the role played by Lal in the original. The father-daughter relationship was well established in Helen and it is going to be interesting to see how their relationship is treated in the Tamil version. The exciting part is that Arun Pandian and Keerthi happen to be real-life father and daughter and let us wish that their combination strikes big. Arun Pandian has produced this film that has music scored by Javed Riaz of Maanagaram fame. Mahesh Muthuswami has worked as the film's cinematographer, while Pradeep E Ragav and Jayachandran have taken care of the editing and art direction departments respectively.

Director Gokul and Sachein fame John Mahendran have penned the film's dialogues. The audio rights of Anbirkiniyal have been acquired by a popular music label, Think Music. Anbirkiniyal revolves around the story of a young girl who gets trapped inside a chicken store for a full day. The film is expected to release in theatres very soon and the makers are currently busy with the final leg of post-production. After the release of Anbirkiniyal, director Gokul will move to his next film, Corona Kumar that is touted to be an out and out, comedy entertainer. Corona Kumar is a spin off of Idharkuthaane Aasaipattai Balakumara and it is produced by K Sathish. For now, check out the first look poster of Keerthi Pandian's Anbirkiniyal here:
