Big update on Dhanush's next! Check it out...

Dhanush has had a rollicking 2019 with his Asuran breaking records and vaulting him into the 100-Crore club. His long awaited Enai Noki Paayum Thota released recently after a long time in the cans and has been receiving mixed response but his performance in the movie got him good reviews. He has been working on a number of other projects, including Pattas with director RS Durai Senthilkumar and his 40th movie - D40 with director Karthik Subbaraj. After completing a lengthy schedule for D40 in London, Dhanush returned to India to resume work on Pattas and we now have a major announcement from the team!

The Pattas team has revealed that they have wrapped up shoot for the movie. Photos and videos from the wrapping up celebrations have been doing the rounds on the internet. This is director RS Durai Senthilkumar's fourth movie, after Ethir Neechal and Kaaki Sattai with Sivakarthikeyan and his last being Kodi with Dhanush. Kodi was the first ever movie in Dhanush's career to see him in dual roles and he will be reprising this in Pattas as well. This movie is being bankrolled by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan for the legendary Sathya Jyothi Films banner.

Sneha and Mehreen Pirzada play the female leads in Pattas, which is expected to hit the screens in January, 2020! The young and talented duo of Vivek-Mervin are composing the music for this movie, which has cinematography by Om Prakash and editing by Prakash Mabbu. Jagapathi Babu and Munishkanth are also reportedly a part of this movie's cast, which will see young Tollywood actor Naveen Chandra as the antagonist.
