Coronavirus cases worldwide rise over 60 lakhs with over 3.7 lakh deaths reported so far. Around 4 thousand deaths have been reported just today so far and the numbers are getting higher every minute. Tamil Nadu saw the highest rise in novel coronavirus cases in a single day, yesterday and today’s number is expected to be similar to yesterdays. The lockdown did control the virus from spreading but the livelihood of the people was affected which forced all the governments to relax the lockdown rules. People are stepping out of their houses for survival. Even the film industry needs to survive, it is one of the most affected sectors. Film industry was the first to go under lockdown and possibly the last industry to resume work. Finally, we have some good news from the film industry as the international crew of Avatar 2 has been given special permission to enter New Zealand to begin filming the blockbuster sequel – despite the country’s border being closed to all foreign nationals.

Avatar director James Cameron and 55 members of his crew had arrived in New Zealand on a privately chartered plane over the weekend after the team of Avatar were given special permission to travel the borders. Jon Landau, Cameron’s producer, posted an Instagram picture of the pair arriving at Wellington international airport, with both men wearing face masks and plastic face shields. “Our #Avatar sets are ready — and we couldn’t be more excited to be headed back to New Zealand. Check out the Matador, a high speed forward command vessel (bottom) and the Picador jetboat (top) — can’t wait to share more,” said the producer in his recent statement.
