One film that has created plenty of curiosity among fans is the upcoming Arun Vijay-starrer Borrder, and is the second collaboration for the actor with director Arivazhagan after the duo’s Kuttram 23 in 2017. Arivazhagan, who earlier impressed fans with his films like Eeram, Vallinam and Aarathu Sinam, is bringing his Borrder with Arun Vijay, which incidentally had the distinction of being the first ever Tamil film to use 3D Mapping technology in order to display its title look. That said, Arun Vijay took to social media to officially confirm the Borrder release date informing fans that the film will hit screens on November 19. See his post below:

Produced by T. Vijayaraghavendra of All In Pictures, Borrder will see Arun Vijay paired opposite Stefy Patel, with Rajathandhiram and Nenjam Marappathillai fame Regina Cassandra cast in a pivotal role. Expectations for the film have shot up over the past few days after a raw and intense action-packed trailer showing Arun Vijay as Aravind Chandrashekar, a Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) specialist, and shows him flexing his muscles in the action sequences. The story or Borrder revolves primarily around terrorism, with the film extensively shot in Delhi and expectations high once again among fans for Arivazhagan and Arun Vijay to churn out yet another edge-of-the-seat entertaining thriller after Kuttram 23

Arun Vijay will be looking to hit it big with Borrder after his last release, Mafia, didn’t sizzle as expected at the box office. Borrder’s all India theatrical rights have been acquired by Dr. Prabhu Thilak's 11:11 Productions, with the music composed by Vikram Vedha and Kaithi composer Sam CS, cinematography by B. Rajasekar and editing one by Sabu Joseph.
