Thalapathy Vijay's Master is one of the most expected films of this year and it is surely going to have a grand gala opening when it releases after the reopening of theatres. The film has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander who has delivered a chartbuster album and his songs have played a very crucial role in keeping the film in constant buzz and hype, despite the unexpected delay in release. In a recent live session, Anirudh shared a few words about Master, which has come as delightful news for the fans.

He said, "We had the audio launch just a few days before the lockdown and imagine the plight, had we delayed the audio release by a few days. Until now, the fans wouldn't have got to listen to the songs. I'm looking at things positively and I guess everyone else should also do that. I'm glad that the songs have been released and it has entertained the fans. We're also glad about the reach of the songs in TikTok. The post production works are going on. I'm working on the re-recording of the film and I have a small studio like setup at my home itself.

So, the work is progressing and Lokesh is simultaneously concentrating on other post production works as well. The release has just been pushed to another date. Whenever the film releases, I'm sure the fans are going to celebrate it." When asked if he spoke with Vijay during this quarantine period, Anirudh said, "Yes, I did speak with Vijay sir. I told him that we are working on the background score. None of us expected this situation to happen. Even Vijay sir is used to being so busy at work.
