Vignesh Shivan is a hit film director who is known for making films with quirky plots that often have a comedic element. He made his debut with the Silambarasan TR and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar starrer Podaa Podi. His recent film Kaatuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal was released last year and was a super-hit film. Galatta Media, known for mind-blowing events, organised a fans festival for the director recently. During the event, the director shared some interesting details about his films and the making process. He also shared some details about his personal life and interacted with his fans. As a special segment, Dance choreographer, Bigg Boss fame Amir and dancer turned actor of Vikram fame Jaffer Sadiq posed some questions they had in mind to the popular director.

Bigg Boss Fame Amir asked Vignesh Shivan how he handled the pressure while making his debut film at a young age. The director said “I did not have any pressure. Because, I had nothing to lose. At that time, getting an opportunity is a big thing. In cricket or in any sport they would say when we go and play a game the first thing is you try to enjoy it, be it anything. So, I would be in a zone to enjoy the process, won’t take any pressure. In my first film too, I was enjoying myself. We were shooting in London and all the things were happening so what else would we want. Just have fun that’s it. The film began that way. It was supposed to start earlier but it went on floors after two years. So, I was very happy that this film is happening. Some other films could have been my debut film. But, I wanted to do this as my first film and It happened. So, I was very Happy and fortunate.” Check out the full interview here:
