Leading Tamil television actor Alya Manasa was one of the several big highlights at the Galatta Nakshatra Awards 2023 where she was honored with the 'Best Television Actor in a Lead Role - Female' award. Accompanied by her husband Sanjeev Karthick and daughter Aila Syed, she received the 'Best Television Actor in a Lead Role - Female' accolade from popular television director Praveen Bennett, who is known for his work on shows Raja Rani and Saravanan Meenatchi, and his wife and actress Sai Pramoditha of Kana Kanum Kalangal and Jodi No.1 (season 5) fame.
Known best among fans for playing the character Sembaruthi on the hit Tamil serial, Raja Rani, on Vijay TV, Alya Manasa started off her speech at the Galatta Nakshatra Awards 2023 by saying, "I want to convey my big thank you to Galatta because I feel extremely happy getting this award from Praveen sir. If it wasn't for him, it wouldn't have been possible for me and Sanjeev to be successful and stand here on this stage. This is something we both often tell him whenever and wherever we meet him." Speaking further about winning the 'Best Television Actor in a Lead Role - Female' award, Alya Manasa continued, "Galatta has made me extremely happy at this moment to receive this award from Praveen sir. From working on Raja Rani to date on any project that I'm a part of, I get tremendous support from the people. When I win an award, I know that my family members and friends will feel happy, but the fans are also happy. That is my true award. It is a big award that I have received."
Currently playing the lead role in the ongoing Tamil serial, Iniya, Alya Manasa also took part in a fun Q&A session with her husband Sanjeev Karthick at the Galatta Nakshatra Awards 2023. Coming out with flying colors during the couples session, there was a special surprise for Alya from none other than Sanjeev's mother, who had big words of praise for her daughter-in-law. Revealing that Alya is extremely hardworking, Sanjeev's mother said, "This is a prize she's won for her perseverance. She completely transforms into a homemaker once she steps into the house after finishing her professional commitments, and looks after all the family members."
