As of now, no other details are known about Dhanush's third directorial, DD3, and we can expect further details, including the cast and the crew to be officially announced soon. The Vaathi actor has several big projects in his lineup starting with the highly-anticipated Captain Miller, which will open in cinemas worldwide as a grand Pongal release in January and kick off his 2024 campaign. Dhanush also has the tentatively titled pan-Indian project, D51, alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Nagarjuna under Telugu filmmaker Sekhar Kammula's direction. The Thiruchitrambalam star will also be reuniting with director Mari Selvaraj after their Karnan (2021) and filmmaker Arun Matheswaran after their Captain Miller on two separate projects. Dhanush is also teaming up with Bollywood filmmaker Aanand L. Rai for the romantic action drama, Tere Ishk Mein, and this is the third time the duo is reuniting after Raanjhanaa (2013) and Atrangi Re (2021).
