Celebration of maamannan udhayanidhi stalin mari selvaraj vadivelu fahadh faasil keerthy suresh ar rahman - Tamil Movie Cinema News

Udhayanidhi Stalin's Maamannan is going strong and witnessing a terrific audience turnout in theatres, with the film already crossing the 50 crores mark in gross collections. Produced under the Red Giant Movies banner, the political thriller film directed by Mari Selvaraj has turned out to be a success at the box office, while also spawning a debate among fans on social media about the various complexities in the regional socio-political, class, and the caste system. With Maamannan continuing to be the talk of the town, the makers have now released a special video highlighting moments from the film's shooting spot where we see Mari Selvaraj and Udhayanidhi Stalin in high spirits along with the remaining core cast and crew members.

In the celebration of Maamannan video, we see Mari Selvaraj leading the proceedings and being supported by Udhayanidhi Stalin and cinematographer Theni Eswar, who are joined by actors Fahadh Faasil, Keerthy Suresh, AND Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman at the shooting spot. This latest behind-the-scenes footage is significantly different from the making content released so far as it shows the cast and the crew all smiling and having fun during the shooting in comparison to the overall serious tone of the film. The Maamannan BTS footage released up until now by Red Giant Movies has predominantly shown how the team had been hard at work during the majority of the part of filming, with the latest video giving audiences a glimpse at how they also had a fun time during production and ending with Vadivelu's birthday celebrations on the film's sets.

A success meet was held with the Maamannan team in Chennai on Saturday, July 9, which saw Udhayanidhi Stalin reveal that the film had collected Rs. 52 crores in gross in nine days since its release while adding that it is also the highest numbers for any film in his career in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and FMS. The film is also the actor-politician's final outing in cinema and the spectacular response to his latest venture is indeed the perfect farewell.
