Bigg Boss Tamil season 7 came to a big conclusion on January 14 in a grand finale event, which saw Archana Ravichandran create history by becoming the first ever wild card entrant to emerge as the title winner. The recently-concluded edition of the hit Vijay Television reality show, which witnessed several big dramatic twists and turns during the course of 105 days, also saw Manichandra coming out as the 1st runner-up, while Maya S. Krishnan was announced as the second runner-up. With the events in Bigg Boss Tamil 7 still being discussed by a section of fans on social media, Maya on Wednesday, January 17, Maya released a statement addressed to all the agents in her "squad". 

Maya, in her heartfelt statement, extended her gratitude to everyone for their love and also for accepting her flaws, while stating that she will have an unconditional respect for all of them until the end. Her statement in Tamil translated in English reads as follows: "I'm going to work for you. Everything is for you. You will be with me forever. You've fought my battles for me. I'll be grateful for that till the end." The Bigg Boss Tamil season 7 star further put forward a request saying, "If you're my fan, admire me. Admire others too, but don't show hatred towards anyone. On the work front, Maya S. Krishnan is currently awaiting the release of Dhruva Natchathiram , which will see her in a key role alongside National Award-winning actor 'Chiyaan' Vikram under Gautham Vasudev Menon's direction. She is also expected to reprise her role as Maya in the upcoming Lokesh Kanagaraj's Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU) franchise films after her appearances in 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan's Vikram (2022) and 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Leo (2023).
