The wait is over for fans of the hit Tamil horror comedy film franchise Aranmanai as the next installment titled Aranmanai 4 has been announced for a grand Pongal 2024 theatrical release. Blockbuster filmmaker-actor Sundar. C has directed the upcoming film, which also sees him in the lead role alongside national sensation Tamannaah and youth heartthrob Raashii Khanna, with the multi-talented Hiphop Tamizha composing the songs and the background score. The release date announcement has also come along with the Aranmanai 4 first look poster depicting the back of a woman, who is seen holding the hands of a small boy and a girl as they head into a huge and old abandoned mansion, with two devilish eyes looking straight at them hinting at a past surrounding the big manor.

There is tremendous excitement surrounding Aranmanai 4 and what the team has in store for Tamil cinema fans this time considering each of the previous films turned out to be big successes at the box office. Sundar. C, who has carved a niche for himself in Tamil cinema as a master commercial filmmaker for more than two decades, is once again expected to deliver the thrills along with plenty of fun, which have been core elements of the blockbuster franchise since the first Aranmanai film (2014). Whether Aranmanai 4 will be a continuation and pick up right after the events of Aranmanai 3 (2021) remains to be seen and the wait will now be for the first visuals from the film, which can be expected to be unveiled soon in the days ahead.
Aranmanai 4 also marks the reunion of Sundar. C and Hiphop Tamizha once again in the hit franchise after the hit music director-actor composed the songs in Aranmanai 2 (2016).
