It's official - Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire will open in cinemas worldwide on December 22, 2023, ahead of the Christmas and New Year holidays. The much-awaited announcement for Prabhas' upcoming film directed by KGF fame Prashanth Neel has come along with a poster of the Telugu superstar showing him in a bloody avatar reminding fans once again what they will be witnessing in theatres in a couple of months' time. The Salaar release date update has come at a time when the film was initially scheduled to be launched in theatres on September 28 and this latest announcement will no doubt be a big relief for Prabhas' fans, who will feel quite recharged with the new development.

Earlier this month, the Salaar team had informed fans that the film's release had been delayed from its September 28 release plans due to unforeseen circumstances, while adding that they were working tirelessly to meet the highest standards in order to deliver an exceptional cinematic experience. It is to be noted that several theatres in the U.S. began refunding those who had purchased the tickets for the highly-anticipated action film, with many production houses subsequently stepping forward and claiming the September 28 date to release their ventures. With the final touches on Salaar now nearing a finish and the new release date announcement out, Prabhas fans can expect more big announcements, including an update for the much-awaited trailer in the days ahead.

Prabhas' Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire has a packed star cast featuring Shruti Haasan as the female lead, with Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran appearing as the antagonist, while Easwari Rao, Jagapathi Babu, Sriya Reddy, Garuda Ram, among others, will be seen in pivotal roles. The expectations and the excitement for the film have been massive right from the get-go as it is director Prashanth Neel's next after the gargantuan success of his KGF films and will see him teaming up with composer Ravi Basrur once again, who delivered electrifying songs and thunderous memorable scores in the both the Yash-starrers.
