The release woes for Gautham Vasudev Menon's Dhruva Natchathiram continue as the blockbuster filmmaker has now officially confirmed that the 'Chiyaan' Vikram film won't be opening in theatres worldwide starting today (November 24) as initially announced. The hit director issued a statement on X in the wee hours of the morning by apologizing to the fans and informing them that he and his team had made their best efforts to bring the espionage thriller to theatres. Gautham Menon wrote, "Sorry. Unable to get Dhruva Natchathiram to the screens today. We tried our best. But looks like we need a day or two more. Hoping to give everybody a good experience with advance bookings and proper screens everywhere around the world." (sic)

Sharing his hope for Dhruva Natchathiram's release soon, Gautham Menon stated that he is confident about the issue getting resolved in the days ahead. He explained, "The support for the film is heartwarming and has kept us going. Just a few more days and we'll arrive." (sic) This latest release delay is no doubt a big disappointing news for Vikram fans everywhere, who have been waiting with bated breath to witness him in action on the big screen, considering the promotional material of the film has shown him as a suave, stylish, and an uber cool spy. Dhruva Natchathiram has been embroiled in several struggles over the past six years and fans will be looking forward to the issues coming to an end in quick time for both Gautham Menon and the film's team.

Dhruva Natchathiram will see National Award-winning Tamil actor Vikram headlining the venture, which is billed to be a globetrotting action feast, and will see him share the screen with Ritu Varma, who is playing the female lead, while Jailer fame Vinayakan is the antagonist. The film's ensemble star cast features several notable big names among whom include Parthiban, R. Radikaa Sarathkumar, Simran, Dhivya Dharshini, Vamsi Krishna, Munna Simon, Salim Baig, Sathish Krishnan, and Maya S Krishnan, with Gautham Menon also making an appearance. There is also plenty of excitement surrounding Dhruva Natchathiram as it sees the Gautham Menon-Harris Jayaraj combo at work together again and the duo is also another major USP for the film.
