Shaitaan's cast was first announced in September last year and is Jyotika's next in Bollywood ahead of the upcoming Sri, a film based on the life of visually-impaired industrialist Srikanth Bolla being portrayed by Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao, which has been announced to open in theatres starting May 10, 2024. The casting of Jyotika alongside National Award winners Madhavan and Ajay Devgn in Shaitaan got fans in instant excitement mode, especially after it was revealed that the film is set in the supernatural genre, and it will be interesting to witness all three top stars in action on the big screen bringing in all their experience to the forefront once again.

Jyotika ended 2023 on a high note and impressed audiences with her powerful performance in the Malayalam film, Kaathal - The Core, which saw her come out on with flying colors alongside iconic three-time National Award-winning actor Mammootty. Apart from Shaitaan and Sri, Jyotika will also be making her digital debut in the upcoming Netflix crime thriller series reportedly titled Dabba Cartel, which has her cast alongside celebrated Hindi actress Shabana Azmi and veteran actor Gajraj Rao. Fans will know that both Jyotika and Madhavan previously starred as the lead pair in Tamil films Dumm Dumm Dumm (2001) and Priyamaana Thozhi (2003), while the latter made a guest appearance in Magalir Mattum (2017).
