Pawan Kalyan makes a big request to FEFSI at the Bro pre-release event, shares advice on restrictions in the Tamil film industry

Pawan kalyan request to fefsi on restrictions in tamil cinema at bro pre release event - Tamil Movie Cinema News

Pawan Kalyan shared his suggestions on Tuesday evening, July 25, to the Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI) regarding how the Tamil film industry must be open to working with people across all languages at the pre-release event of his upcoming film, Bro. Called 'Power Star' by his ardent fans everywhere, the leading Telugu actor-politician took to the stage at the gala event of the upcoming Telugu film and utilized the platform to share his views about collaborating with talent across all languages, while also laying importance on inclusivity in cinema.

Speaking at the Bro pre-release event, Pawan Kalyan said, "Recently, I heard about how Tamil cinema is limiting itself within specific boundaries. The Telugu film industry, on the other hand, is open to embracing actors and technicians from all linguistic backgrounds. The Tamil film industry should be inclusive. If it continues to remain restricted only to Tamilians, there will be limited growth. The Telugu film industry continues to prosper because it is encouraging new talents from all places." Recalling the names who are a part of Bro, Pawan Kalyan stated, "Some people who have made a name here are Samuthirakani from Tamil, Sujith Vaassudev from Malayalam, Urvashi Rautela from the North, and Neeta Lulla, whose family migrated from Pakistan to India during Partition." He added, "When talents come together from various languages, the film becomes extraordinary. I appeal to the members of the Tamil film fraternity to let go of such thinking and seek and aim to make films like RRR."

Directed by actor-filmmaker Samuthirakani, Bro is a remake of his Tamil film Vinodhaya Sitham (2021) and will see Pawan Kalyan sharing screen space with Sai Dharam Tej, Priya Prakash Varrier, Ketika Sharma, Brahmanandam, Subbaraju, and Vennela Kishore in pivotal roles. Jointly produced by the People Media Factory and Zee Studios banners, the upcoming Telugu film has a screenplay written by Trivikram Srinivas.
