The Indian Railways is playing a major role in many stranded people like migrant workers, students and tourists, return to their hometowns! Many Shramik Express trains have been taking thousands of people back to their native places and now, we hear that one such special train would be leaving for Danapur in Bihar, from Bengaluru, on June 1st! However, due to the severe COVID-19 spread in Tamil Nadu, this special train will not be stopping in any stations in the state. The regular route of this train takes it through the MGR Chennai Central, Arakkonam, Katpadi and Jolarpettai junctions.

Special train from Bengaluru to Bihar will not stop in any Tamil Nadu stations!

However, now the route has been altered and though the train would touch the Jolarpettai Junction in Tamil Nadu, it will not be stopping there. This KSR Bengaluru - Danapur - KSR Bengaluru Daily Express Special will now be travelling via Jolarpettai, Renigunta, Gudur and Melpakkam, instead. This Train No. 02295/02296 will leave Bengaluru on June 1st and the return train would leave Danapur on June 3rd! To clear the heavy crowd wanting to travel to Kolkata, a special 5-days-a-week Superfast Express train has been introduced from Yesvantpur to Howrah, which would be running at the same time as the Duronto Express.
