Popular Tamil actress Yashika Aannand is recovering in Chennai after she lost control of her car on the outskirts of Chennai in the early hours of July 25, which tragically ended in the death of her friend Pavani Valicheti in the accident. Yashika, who became a household name across Tamil Nadu after her stint on the smash hit Vijay Television reality show, Bigg Boss Tamil season 2, in 2018, took to social media on Wednesday to share an update on her upcoming film for the first time after her accident. 

Yashika posted an update on Twitter about her next film, Kadamaiyai Sei, which has her sharing screen space with blockbuster filmmaker turned actor SJ Suryah in the lead role. Sharing a tweet earlier posted by SJ Suryah about the first look release of Kadamaiyai Sei, Yashika wrote, "One side life is very numb and hurting . And the other side life must go on...It took many years of hardwork to reach till here #KadamaiyaiSei #staytuned thank you @iam_SJSuryah for being a pillar." Earlier, SJ Suryah had tweeted, "Right now As hero 2movies, one web series & as villain 2 movies yen KADAMAIYAI senjukittirukken. One by one getting ready. varusaya  release ahappogudhu. NOW WHO IS GOING TO RELEASE THE FIRST LOOK OF MY NEXT MOVIE “KADAMAIYAI SEI“??? Tomorrow 6pm will let U know". Soon after Yashika posted the tweet, fans consoled the actress telling her to be hopeful. 

Produced jointly by TR Ramesh and Zakir Hussain under their Ganesh Entertainment and Nahar Films banner, Kadamaiyai Sei has been written and directed by Venkatt Ragavan and includes 'Motta' Rajendran, Vincent Asokan, Charles Vinoth among others in supporting roles, with music by Arun Raj, known for his work on the Arun Vijay-starrer Thadam.
