Pandian Stores is one of the most successful serials in Tamil and the serial has got a huge fanbase. The serial, which is being aired on Vijay TV, stars Stalin Muthu, Sujitha Dhanush, Kumaran Thangarajan, Kaavya Arivumani in the lead roles. Recently, the serial witnessed an unexpected change as one of the actors in the serial was replaced. Deepika, who impressed one and all with her performance as Aishwarya (Kannan's love interest character), was not seen in the recent episodes of Pandian Stores and this development came as a shocker for the fans. She was replaced by Saai Gayathri, who will now essay the character of Aishwarya in the upcoming episodes.
Having said that, actress Deepika, in an exclusive interview with Galatta Media, has revealed the reason for her replacement in the serial and this is the first time, the actress has come up with an explanation. The shocking revelation is that Deepika was replaced since she had acne issues on her face.
Talking about it, Deepika said, "I have been taking treatment for acne issues for the last three months. The acne issues developed due to make-up that I had to put on, for the shoot. The team (Pandian Stores) gave me a span of three months to cure the acne issues, but I couldn't completely cure them within the given time. From June, the acne spots increased rapidly. I also understood that this treatment needs more time and decided that this is the right time to take a break. The team also decided to replace me with another actor. Since they gave me a span of three months already and supported me in the past, I was not angry or hurt".
In a way, it is indeed unfortunate that an actress had to be let go from a serial due to an acne problem and we wish success to Deepika for her future endeavours. Watch the full interview of actress Deepika on Pandian Stores here:
