Popular Tamil director Mohan Raja who is known for making movies like M Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi, Santhosh Subramaniam, Velayudham, Thani Oruvan, Velaikkaran, will be directing Telugu Superstar Chiranjeevi in his next film. Mohan Raja will be helming the Telugu remake of Mohanlal’s blockbuster hit, Lucifer that marked the directorial debut of actor Prithviraj Sukumaran. Lucifer was a massive hit at the box office and it was a film that celebrated the stardom of Mohanlal. Director Mohan Raja has now been assigned the responsibility to helm the Telugu remake with Megastar Chiranjeevi who has a phenomenal fan base.

The announcement regarding the project was made a few weeks before and Mohan Raja was highly excited about it. Taking to his Twitter page, Mohan Raja had written, “With the blessings of my parents and well wishers, life has always gifted me better and bigger things. And this time I’m more elated n honored to direct a mega project with the Megastar @KChiruTweets himself Need all your wishes n prayers #Chiru153”.

A new announcement from the makers of this mega biggie has now been made and this one has already created a sensational buzz among the fans. Yes! The happening music director S Thaman has been roped in to score music for the Telugu remake of Lucifer and it has made the fans look forward to the film. Thaman has become one of the most sought after composers in the Telugu industry after the blockbuster success of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and it is interesting to see him bag some solid mega projects. Recently, he had scored music for the Silambarasan TR starrer, Eeswaran, directed by Susienthiran.

Sharing his excitement about scoring music for the Telugu remake of Lucifer, Thaman tweeted, “A biggest dream for Any Composer It’s My Turn to Show My love towards Our #BOSS Shri #MEGASTAR @KChiruTweets gaaru & My dear brother @jayam_mohanraja Here we begin our musical journey for #lucifer ( TEL ) !! Godbless”. Thaman's addition to Chiru 153 is definitely exciting and the fans can now be assured of the success of the film's songs and background score. Mohan Raja is currently said to be busily working on the pre-production and more updates are expected to follow in the coming days.
