The much-awaited update has come from the team of the upcoming film along with the big announcement that the pooja ceremony video will be released tomorrow at 12:05 p.m., which will unveil the entire cast and cast crew. Scheduled to open in a grand manner in theatres worldwide in 2024, there are several leading Tamil cinema names said to be attached to Thalapathy 68, with the film's pooja video set to finally reveal the entire cast and crew tomorrow. The film also marks the first collaboration of Vijay and blockbuster filmmaker Venkat Prabhu, and there has been massive excitement surrounding the project ever since it was announced back in May. Filming on Thalapathy 68 went on floors on October 2, with Venkat Prabhu describing the film to be a "fun roller coaster ride", which will feature songs and a background score composed by celebrated music director Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Thalapathy 68 is billed to be a "high-octane action film" for which both Vijay and Venkat Prabhu traveled to Los Angeles, California, some time back to reportedly discuss with the team at the USC Institute of Creative Technologies about the implementation of a 3D VFX scan technology called Light Stage in the film. This latest Thalapathy 68 update has come out at a time when Vijay's recent release, Leo, took a sensational opening crossing 400 crores in worldwide collections in the first four days, with the box office numbers expected to go higher in the days ahead.
