The third single song from Superstar Rajinikanth's Annaatthe was released yesterday (October 18) and the song has opened to a rousing reception from the fans and music lovers. Titled 'Marudhaani', the song was a fun-filled festive track that had energetic beats, along with enjoyable renditions from prominent singers like Nakash Aziz, Anthony Daasan, and Vandana Srinivasan. Mani Amuthavan's lyrics perfectly supplemented the wedding mood of the song. The highlight of this song will be its visuals that will feature Rajinikanth alongside three female leads of the film - Khushbu Sundar, Meena, and Keerthy Suresh.

'Marudhaani' video song will be featured during Keerthy Suresh's wedding in the film and it is expected to be a visual treat for the fans. Rajinikanth, dancing alongside Meena and Khushbu has already bought nostalgic memories for the fans who are now eagerly looking forward to witnessing the song in the theatres. Meanwhile, the makers have now released a short glimpse of the making of the 'Marudhaani' song and in this video, we see shots from the song recording session, featuring Nakash Aziz. We see Imman discussing the track with Nakash and the visuals from this making video has got good attention among the fans.

Three more songs are there in the film and they will be released one by one very soon. Nayanthara will be seen playing Rajinikanth's love interest in Annaatthe which also has Prakash Raj, Soori, Sathish, Jagapathi Babu, Abhimanyu Singh, Livingstone, and Pandiarajan in supporting roles. Directed by Siva of Viswasam fame, Annaatthe has cinematography by Vetri Palanisamy, while the editing and art direction departments are headed by Ruben and Milan respectively. Dhilip Subbarayan has choreographed the stunts of the film.
