The hit Tamil reality television singing competition show Super Singer Senior is in its tenth season and has been receiving a grand response from viewers akin to the previous editions, with several new talents rising to the fore and proving their mettle on the big stage. Being telecast on the leading broadcasting Vijay Television channel, Super Singer Senior has introduced a number of skilled singers to Tamil audiences over the years, who have since then made a name for themselves in the music industry.
With Super Singer Junior providing a platform for young kids and children to shine and the ninth edition recently witnessing a grand reception towards the end of 2023, the Super Singer Senior season 10 is now underway and has iconic Tamil singers Sujatha, Mano, Anuradha Sriram, and music composer Sean Roldan appearing as the judges. The ongoing season has so far witnessed a mix of songs sung in genres like Carnatic and Gaana by the participating singers, which have received a huge response.
Super Singer Senior season 10 has also seen quite a few memorable moments already, including singer Thanseera Jahan from Kerala, who has enthralled viewers and listeners with her voice and songs garnering appreciation from all quarters. She had begun learning Tamil in the hopes of meeting actor Sivakarthikeyan, and has since enrolled for her postgraduate Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Tamil. Similarly, Super Singer Senior season 10 also saw contestant Lincy Diana sing in different voices during the 'Wedding Hits' round leaving audiences delighted. The show also witnessed Lincy being reunited with her father, who initially objected to her love marriage, and leaving everyone emotional and happy.
