Leading Tamil actor Sivakarthikeyan is wrapping up 2023 on a big note with the phenomenal box-office success of his Maaveeran and is all set to kick off his 2024 campaign with the highly-anticipated science-fiction entertainer Ayalaan releasing in theatres worldwide as a grand Pongal treat in January. The Don actor who is currently shooting his next film, the tentatively titled SK 21, under Rangoon fame Rajkumar Periasamy's direction, has now posted a set of photos of his new look for his role in the film along with a powerful statement about his competition.
On Saturday, December 16, Sivakarthikeyan posted three pictures of himself in a clean-shaven look for his role in SK 21, thus hinting that it could be for his character's younger version. Along with the photos, the Doctor star wrote in the caption: "Look in the mirror... That's your competition. #SK21" (sic) Sivakarthikeyan's latest look in his pictures have gotten his fans excited, who are waiting with bated breath to witness him in action on the big screen in SK 21, which will reportedly showcase him playing an Army man, with the first schedule lasting for 75 days in Kashmir coming to an end back in August.
SK 21 will see Sivakarthikeyan sharing screen space with leading South Indian actress Sai Pallavi, while National Award-winning music director G. V. Prakash Kumar is composing the songs and the background score. There has been quite a lot of secrecy surrounding Sivakarthikeyan's role in SK 21 as the actor was seen covering his head with a beanie cap throughout the first schedule while revealing that it's going to be a special surprise for his fans. Apart from SK 21, Sivakarthikeyan will soon begin work on his film with A.R. Murugadoss and fans will be waiting to see what the blockbuster director is coming up with after four years since his Darbar (2020) with 'Superstar' Rajinikanth.
