Recently, the Tamil Nadu Government permitted the Tamil film industry to resume works pertaining to post-production. The government also mentioned that all the post production studios should be sanitized properly and should have not more than 5 people working at a time. Adhering to all the guidelines proposed by the Government, the Tamil film industry technicians (related to post-production) got back to work from yesterday (May 11) and interesting updates have started to flow in. The first Tamil film to start with the post-production works after 50 days of lockdown happens to be Sibiraj's Kabadadaari, directed by Pradeep Krishnamoorthy of Saithaan and Sathya fame.

The dubbing works for the film have begun and producer Dhananjayan took to his official Twitter space to share this update. He posted, "Happy to get back to #PostProduction of @Sibi_Sathyaraj 's #Kabadadaari with dubbing by #JP sir, following proper regulations. Now will progress towards finish soon. Thank you Govt.of TN for the approval 🙏🙏🙏👍👍". Produced by Dhananjayan under the banner of BOFTA Media Works, Kabadadaari is the official remake of the Kannada movie, Kavaludaari, which released in 2018. This action thriller has music scored by Simon K King and cinematography by Rasamathi.

Kabadadaari features an interesting star cast that includes Sibiraj, Nandita Swetha, Nassar, Jayaprakash, Suman Ranganathan, Sampath, producer J.Sathish Kumar and director Pradeep Krishnamoorthy himself. The makers will now focus completely on the post-production works and get the film ready by the time the theatres reopen after the lockdown. Check out Dhananjayan's tweet below:
