Shanthnu is one of the popular actors in the Tamil Film Industry who has worked on many interesting projects. His recent film Raavana Kottam was released in theatres last Friday and is running successfully in theatres. It has 'Kayal' Anandhi laying the female lead and an exciting cast of support actors. It is directed by Madha Yaanai Kootam Fame Vikram Sugumaran. As a surprise to the actor Shanthu Bhagyaraj his friend Prithvi arrived at the event. Speaking at the event, The actor Shanthnu revealed that they have worked on a film together. Prithvi Pandiarajan said ”Yes, me, Ashok Selvan, Shanthnu", Then Shanthnu added “...Keerthi Pandiyan, we have acted in film by Lemon Leaf and Neelam Production (of director Pa.Ranjith) combined. It's a period cricket film." They then shared that both of them had to reduce 10-15 kgs for the film and for about, three months they both would go for a run daily morning from Valluvar Kottam to Le Meridian. "That is how we could lose 10 kgs because we were playing the role of 20-23-year-olds so we had to clean shave. We are confident about the film. The thing that we both love is cricket and like that, we acted together in a cricket film and we are all buddies so it was a happy shooting the film", said the friends.
When asked to reveal something unknown facts about Santhnu, The actor said during the post-production work of Raavana Kottam, they were shooting for this (Lemon Leaf and Neelam Productions) film and he would always be on call inquiring about the film working like a production manager. About Prithvi, Shanthnu said "he is a terrific performer and many people in the sets would know. Because, he was dedicated and became like that character, I want the world to see what kind of a performer he is."
