To celebrate this victory of Rudhran in a meaningful way, the director Five Star Kathiresan, Kathiresan Thirumaran and actor Ilavarasu visited the Brindavanam Old Age home in Chennai and spoke with the elderly people, offered them food, basic amenities and donated money. Speaking about this appreciable act of social service, Producer/Director Kathiresan said “I thank the fans who supported the film Rudhran. The major takeaway and core of the film is that people should not admit their parents in old-age homes and must take care of their parents and live with them. So, celebrating the success of the film with the elderly people at Brindavanam Old Age Home gives me immense joy”.
It is to be noted that, After nearly a decade of the release of Kanchana the hit duo of Raghava Lawrence and Sarath Kumar collaborated again in Rudhran. Apart from the duo, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Poornima Bagyaraj, Kali Venkat and Redin Kingsley have also done important roles in the flick. The action entertainer film has music was composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar, R.D. Rajasekar as Cinematographer, Antony as editor, Raju P. as art director, and Stunt Siva and Vicky as Stunt choreographers. The story and screenplay for the film were written by K.P. Thirumaaran. The film was released in theatres on 14th April for the Tamil New Year and has been welcomed well by fans and movie goers.
