Leading Bollywood actress Nushrrat Bharuccha sustained a leg injury during the shooting of her upcoming film, Janhit Mein Jaari. Best known for playing the heroine in the smash hit 2011 Hindi film, Pyaar Ka Punchnama, the actress was filming a Holi song sequence on the sets of Janhit Mein Jaari when she sprained her leg. Nushrrat, who has starred in the Tamil film, Vaaliba Raja, had been administered treatment after check-up and an X-ray and has been advised to rest for another 3-4 days, with the shoot said to be put on hold. The remaining portions of the dance sequence will be held on the massive setup erected only after she makes a complete recovery, reports say.

Earlier in August, Nushrrat fell ill during the shoot of director Luv Ranjan's upcoming film and had to be taken to hospital. The actress in an interview to ETimes revealed that it was a "vertigo attack which has perhaps happened due to stress". Prior to her illness, she posted a photo on June 29 of her back injury on her Instagram Story, while captioning it as "injured again".

On the work front, Nushrratt will be seen in Chhori, the Hindi remake of the Marathi horror-mystery Lapachhapi. Likewise, she also has the biggie, Ram Setu, in which she will be seen alongside superstar Akshay Kumar and Jacqueline Fernandes. As for Janhit Mein Jaari, the film is billed to be a social-comedy and is being directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, with whom she previously collaborated on Dream Girl in 2019 opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. Nushrratt, who is also known for her roles in ventures like Love Sex Aur Dhokha, Akaash Vani, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Chhalaang, is also attached to the romantic film, Hurdang, and has been cast opposite Sunny Kaushal.
