This is not the first time an incident of a fire breaking out has come up this month. Earlier on June 9, a major fire broke out in Mumbai's Mankhurd area. Fire department vehicles rushed to the spot and brought it under control. Thankfully, no casualty was reported in the incident. There was another instance earlier this month as well when a fire broke out in Bhiwandi of Thane district of Maharashtra. However, when the incident took place, no worker was present in the godown.
A major fire broke out last month as well. It took place in a 21-story residential building near Mannat, Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan's house, in Mumbai's Bandstand area. A 31-year-old firefighter died of suffocation while trying to douse that fire.
