The coronavirus pandemic has affected the daily livelihood of people all over the globe. As far as India is concerned, the entire country is on a lockdown until April 14 and according to the latest updates, there are said to be high chances of extending the lockdown until the end of this month. People have been asked to stay indoors and maintain social distancing to contain the spread of the virus among people. To fight the pandemic situation financially, all the state governments and the Central Government has asked its citizens to donate money accordingly. On that note, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has made a generous donation of Rs 50 lakhs to Kerala Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund (CMDRF) to help people in this crisis situation.


The news was officially confirmed by the state’s Chief Minister, Pinrayi Vijayan, in his recent press conference. Once the corona pandemic is resolved and situation gets back to normalcy, Mohanlal would witness the release of his historical epic film, Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham, directed by Priyadarshan.
