Actor Ajith Kumar had injured himself a few days back while shooting a bike chase stunt sequence for his upcoming film, Valimai, being directed by H. Vinoth under producer Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP banner featuring music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. It was revealed that Ajith's bike had skidded during the shooting of the action scene at Chennai after which the superstar proceeded to complete filming his portions and only then consulted his family doctor.

With the Valimai team wrapping their recent schedule at Chennai and plans now being set for the next leg of shooting at Hyderabad, Ajith, who is at present on the road to recovery, received wishes for a quick comeback from Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, 'Thalapathy' Vijay's co-star in the upcoming action thriller, Master, being directed by Kaithi fame Lokesh Kanagaraj. Shanthanu took to his Twitter page praising Ajith for being the one actor who takes risks in his stunt sequences without going for the assistance of a dupe and wished for the superstar for a speedy return to good health. Both Valimai and Master are 2020's biggest films right from the moment of their announcements with the former announced for a grand Diwali release while the latter is making its way to theatres much earlier this summer in April. Both 'Thala' Ajith and 'Thalapathy' Vijay's fans have been praising and appreciating Shanthanu's statement on social media and have given the Vaanam Kottattum actor a double thumbs up for his sweet gesture.
