Chiyaan Vikram is said to be playing the role of Aditya Karikalan, while Jayam Ravi is reportedly playing Raja Raja Cholan and Karthi is touted to play Vanthiyathevan. Trisha will be playing Kundavai with Aishwarya Rai reportedly playing Nandhini. Now during a live interaction, Galatta’s journalist Shakti had asked Mani Ratnam why he hasn’t acted in a film so far? Will he act if he gets an offer? The OK Kanmani actor replied saying - “Yeah, Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwarya asked me to act in a film, I said no why because, if I had acted and when I had got back to directing, the actor would pin point and say, I saw how bad you had acted. Now I can be like I know everything and I can demand the best from every actor. I guess, this way it is better for me.”
