Popular Malayalam actor Sreenath Bhasi has been arrested by the Maradu Police, Kochi, following a complaint filed by a female anchor from an online media portal. Sreenath Bhasi was actively involved in the promotions of his latest film, Chattambi, for the last few days and we have been seeing him a part of various interviews. While giving an interview to a popular YouTube channel, the female anchor asked Sreenath Bhasi to rate his co-stars based on their 'rowdiness'. But, the question did not sit well with Sreenath Bhasi who asked if he could leave the interview, asking the camera crew to turn off the filming.

It is said that he verbally abused the two female anchors following which the complaint was filed.
