Chimbu Deven's next directorial venture, Kasadatabara will be releasing on August 27 and it is expected to be a quality content-driven film. Kasadatabara will skip the theatrical release and be out on the Sony Liv streaming platform from the said date. Kasadatabara will be Sony Liv's third direct Tamil OTT release film after Vaazhl and Thittam Irandu. Ahead of the film's release, the makers have unveiled the official trailer of Kasadatabara and it looks highly promising.

The trailer packs a punch and it has been packaged in an interesting fashion. The dialogues in the trailer garner good attention and it will surely seem relatable to the audience. The performances of all the actors look impressive. While a lot of people have mistaken Kasadatabara to be an anthology, in reality, it is a hyperlink film. Kasadatabara will be a pack of six different short films which get linked with each other as a single story because of the vantage point theory. Kasadatabara will consist of six stories and the highlight aspect is that each story has a different cinematographer, music director and editor.

The six music directors of Kasadatabara include Yuvan Shankar Raja, Santosh Narayanan, Ghibran, Sam CS, Sean Roldan, and Premgi Amaren, while the cinematographers are MS Prabhu, Vijay Milton, Balasubramaniem, RD Rajasekhar, Sakthi Saravanan, and SR Kathir. The film features a bunch of young and highly talented actors in the form of Harish Kalyan, Sundeep Kishan, Shanthanu, Venkat Prabhu, Premgi, Regina Cassandra, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Vijayalakshmi, Aravind Akash, and others. The film is produced by Venkat Prabhu's Black Ticket Company, in association with R Ravindran's Trident Arts.
