Suriya has unveiled the first official glimpse of Bollywood superstar Bobby Deol from the highly-anticipated film, Kanguva. The Animal star, who will be playing the character Udhiran in the upcoming film directed by Siva is celebrating his birthday today and the National Award-winning Tamil actor has now given fans a peek into what they are cooking for them. It was awesome to see you transform in full glory as the mighty #Udhiran in our #Kanguva Guys watch out for him! @directorsiva @ThisIsDSP @vetrivisuals @StudioGreen2" (sic)

The new Kanguva poster introduces Bobby Deol as Udhiran in tribal attire surrounded by countless people wearing antlers atop their heads while reaching out to him. This latest glimpse portrays the Bollywood actor almost along the lines of a messianic figure and it will be interesting to witness how he will be pitted against Suriya in the film, which has been announced to be coming out in the 3D format and in more 10 languages. Bobby Deol's look in Kanguva as Udhiran has come at a time when he's now one of the biggest names in the country after his power-packed performance in the nationwide blockbuster, Animal, alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Anil Kapoor, and it will no doubt be a big treat to see him face-off Suriya on the big screen next in Tamil.

Kanguva will mark Bobby Deol's Tamil cinema debut and the introduction of his character to audiences here by Suriya will no doubt be a memorable one for him to remember on his birthday. The film will also see Bollywood sensation Disha Patani being introduced in Tamil as the female lead, while Sathuranga Vettai and Karnan fame Natarajan 'Natty' Subramaniam and Yogi Babu, among others have been cast in pivotal roles, with the songs and the background score being composed by National Award winner Devi Sri Prasad.
