Ulaganayagan Kamal Haaasan is an actor turned politician who has voiced his opinion on a number of social issues. Apparently, Kamal Haasan has watched the recently released Gypsy, which had Jiiva and Natasha Singh in the lead and was the third directorial venture of Raju Murugan, following Joker and Cuckoo! After watching Gypsy, Kamal seems to have been very impressed by the message conveyed in the movie and has invited the team to his office and appreciated them.

Gypsy, bankrolled by Ambeth Kumar's Olympia Movies, hit the screens on March 6th, after lengthy delays due to some issues or the other.

The cast of Gypsy includes Sunny Wayne, Lal Jose and Susheela Raman. The horse, which played a character called Che in Gypsy, has come in for a lot of praise for its performance. Santhosh Narayanan has scored the music for this movie, which has SK Selvakumar's cinematography and Raymond Derrick Crasta's editing. Jiiva is next looking forward to the release of his Bollywood debut movie '83, which is based on Kapil Dev's Cricket World Cup winning team of 1983!
