Suriya was last seen on the big screens in the KV Anand directorial Kaappaan and is now awaiting the release of his next movie - Soorarai Pottru. This movie, bankrolled jointly by Suriya's 2D Entertainment & Guneet Monga's Sikhya Entertainment banners, is being directed by Sudha Kongara of Irudhi Suttru fame. Soorarai Pottru is all set to release on April 9th and the promotions for the movie are on in full swing. Earlier today, this movie's music director GV Prakash had posted that there would be an exciting announcement today evening and as promised, it is out!

GV Prakash took to his Twitter account to reveal that the raw folk song 'Mannurunda' from Soorarai Pottru, would be releasing tomorrow! This would be the second single from the movie, following the 'Veyyon Silli' song but the third track overall, after the 'Maara Theme', to be released from this movie! Aparna Balamurali of 8 Thottakkal fame is playing the female lead in this movie, which is said to be based on the life of Captain GR Gopinath, the founder of the budget airline - Air Deccan!

There is a lot of buzz around Soorarai Pottru and the ensemble cast of this movie includes Paresh Rawal, Jackie Shroff, Urvashi, Karunas, Mohan Babu, Sampath Raj and a whole host of others. Niketh Bommireddy has taken care of the cinematography while Sathish Suriya is handling the editing. Get ready for the 'Mannurunda' song, which is releasing tomorrow!
