The stage is set for a grand opening for the highly-anticipated Chandramukhi 2 coming out in theatres worldwide on September 28 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi languages. The upcoming comedy horror film starring Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut in the lead roles has been written and directed by P. Vasu and features songs and a background score composed by Academy Award winner M. M. Keeravani. With the Chandramukhi 2 team leaving no stone unturned in the promotions of the film, the 'Nee Kosame' song lyric video has now been released giving audiences a glimpse at the royal grandeur and the big visual spectacle that awaits them in cinemas starting this week.

Sung by Mohana Bhogaraju to the lyrics penned by Chaitanya Prasad, the 'Nee Kosame' semi-classical carnatic track has already been getting airwaves, and shows the on-screen chemistry between actor-filmmaker Raghava Lawrence, who is shown in his Vettaiyan Raja avatar, while four-time National Award-winning actress Kangana Ranaut is seen taking to the dance floor as the titular character Chandramukhi. There is quite a lot of excitement for Chandramukhi 2 considering it is a direct sequel to 'Superstar' Rajinikanth's blockbuster Chandramukhi (2005), and fans will be looking to witness how the two films are connected and how the events in the story will unfold.

Chandramukhi 2 will also see Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut sharing the screen alongside an ensemble cast featuring the likes of 'Vaigai Puyal' Vadivelu and Raadhika Sarathkumar, Lakshmi Menon, Mahima Nambiar, Srushti Dange, Rao Ramesh, Ravi Mariya, Suresh Menon, T. M. Karthik, Subiksha Krishnan, among others, with M. M. Keeravani's music also another big highlight. The veteran music director is returning to Tamil cinema with Chandramukhi 2 after nearly two decades when he last worked on Sibiraj's debut film, Student Number 1 (2003).
