Bigg Boss Tamil season 5 is seeing a strong viewership after it kicked off on Vijay TV last week, with the show also receiving a solid response on DisneyPlus Hotstar. 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan is hosting the hit reality TV show for the fifth consecutive time and the latest edition includes eighteen contestants among whom are Abhinay Vaddi, Abishek Raaja, Akshara Reddy, Chinnaponnu, Ciby Chandran, Imman Annachi, Isaivani, Iykki Berry, Madhumitha, Nadia Chang, Namitha Marimuthu, Niroop Nandakumar, Pavni Reddy, Priyanka Deshpande, Raju Jeyamohan, Sruthi Jeyadevan, Thamarai Selvi and Varun. 

In that light, Vijay TV has been releasing promos everyday teasing the events in the Bigg Boss 5 house and the third promo for the day showing us a fun banter between the contestants. We see in this latest Bigg Boss Tamil 5 promo Abishek Raaja pulling the legs of all the contestants and giving them nicknames. Abishek labels Imman Annachi as 'Anaamathu' Annachi,followed by calling Pavni as 'Paavam' Pavni, then Niroop Nandakumar as 'Neruppu' Niroop, Akshara Reddy as 'Assault' Akshara, Thamarai Selvi as 'Thalaivi' Thamarai and concluding the list by declaring Isaivani's new name as 'Imsai' Isaivani. Next, we see Isaivani rushing in from the kitchen and questioning Abishek as to why he's on her case all the time, with their conversation turning into an entertaining wordplay among the lot. 

The ongoing edition of Bigg Boss is different as it includes eighteen contestants in comparison to the sixteen participants in the previous seasons. Excitement for the show is high as fans have taken to social media to express their opinions on the events inside the Bigg Boss 5 house. Although there have been only instances where tension was witnessed among the contestants, we can expect more drama as the days go by.
