The actor said “In Ghilli, instead of the Sister character (to the lead played by 'Thalapathy' Vijay), They had thought of a brother character. And Dharani sir called me, It moved forward, they took a test shoot. But, when there is a girl, they felt it will be opposite to the lead and that they could do many interesting things and they removed it. Because in the original film (Okkadu), it was a girl so they thought they could switch it and make it a boy character. If you ask me, I thought a girl should only act in that role and so I took it easy. It’s not a problem.”
