Atharvaa & Anupama's next project nearing completion! Deets inside!

Young heartthrob Atharvaa, who made a rollicking start to his career with Baana Kaathadi in 2010, has not been having a great run at the Box Office, in recent times! His 2019 releases 100 and Boomerang, both did not do all that great at the Box Office. However, he had a decent turn of events with his Tollywood debut Gaddalakonda Ganesh, which is the Telugu remake of the blockbuster Tamil hit Jigarthanda. The movie did amazingly well at the theatres and was well received by the audiences. Atharvaa has a number of projects in hand, with one of them being the Tamil remake of the super hit Telugu movie Ninnu Kori. We now have an exciting update about this project!

The Tamil remake of Ninnu Kori, which has Atharvaa and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead, is being produced by Cosmo Siva's MKRP Productions, in association with R Kannan, who is also directing this movie. Atharvaa and Anupama are reprising Nani and Nivetha Thomas's roles from the original while Amitash Pradhan of VIP fame will be seen in Aadhi Pinisetty's role. The original was directed by Shiva Nirvana and hit the screens in 2017. We now hear that the shooting for the Tamil version is almost complete with just 1 more schedule left to be canned. Reports state that the unit of this project will soon be heading to Azerbaijan for a 15-day schedule, and will complete the entire movie's shoot with this schedule.

The cast of this remake also includes Vidyullekha Raman, Aadukalam Naren, Kaali Venkat, Jagan and RS Sivaji. Shanmuga Sundaram is handling the cinematography while RK Selva is taking care of the editing. Atharvaa and R Kannan had recently collaborated in Boomerang. Atharvaa was also recently in the news after producer Mathiyalagan of Etcetera Entertainment accused Atharvaa of cheating him. Another news that put Atharvaa in the limelight is that his brother Akash is all set to tie the knot with Thalapathy Vijay's niece Sneha Britto. Stay tuned for further updates...
