Actress Priya Bhavani Shankar has become one of the most popular names among the youth in Tamil Nadu of late, especially after her transition from television to cinema. Having made her Tamil cinema debut in 2017 with Meyaadha Maan opposite Vaibhav, the film turned out to be a box office success, with Priya subsequently landing roles in Karthi's Kadaikutty Singam, Monster opposite SJ Suryah, Arun Vijay’s Mafia: Chapter 1 and was last seen in the multi-starrer Kalathil Santhippom, which came out last month. Priya, who currently is a part of a few big projects, was also announced to be cast opposite Ashok Selvan in Trident Arts' tentatively titled Production No 8, with shooting on the untitled film coming to a wrap on Tuesday.
Directed by Sathuram 2 fame Sumanth Radhakrishnan, Trident Arts shared a production wrap picture on Twitter with Ashok Selvan and the film's crew looking high in spirits. The upcoming venture with Ashok Selvan and Priya Bhavani Shankar will also include Nasser, Munishkanth, Kalakka Povathu Yaaru fame Yogi and Ravi Maria in vital supporting roles, with the technical crew featuring names like Bobo Sashi scoring the music, Praveen for the cinematography, editing by Rahul, art direction by Durairaj, while R.
