Actress Anickha Vijayi Vikramman has recently come forward with shocking revelations of being physically and mentally abused by her ex-boyfriend, Anoop Pillai. The actress shared a picture of herself with visible injuries and posted a detailed letter explaining the events that took place. She revealed that she was in a relationship with Anoop Pillai for a few years and was subjected to mental and physical torture throughout their time together.
Anickha further explained that she had filed a complaint with the police in Bangalore when Anoop Pillai hit her for the second time, but it was of no use as he had paid off the cops. She had also been manipulated and cheated on multiple times, which led her to leave him. However, Anoop Pillai was not ready to let her go and went to extreme measures to keep her under his control. In her letter, Anickha also described the horrifying incident in which Anoop Pillai attacked her, suffocated her, and punched her multiple times. He even broke her phone and threatened her to keep quiet about the incident. Anickha was left traumatized and had to take time to recover both mentally and physically. The actress also revealed that she had been receiving threatening calls and that her family was being degraded continuously, despite leaving these incidents behind. She stated that she believed in forgiving everyone, but Anoop Pillai had gone too far, and she firmly believed in karma.
Anickha's courageous step to come forward with her story sheds light on the issue of domestic violence and the need for stricter laws to protect victims.
