On June 25, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan revealed the release date of his upcoming action film, Pathaan. This came as a treat to his fans, who are celebrating 30 years of the actor in the film industry today. The actor took to his official Twitter handle to release a motion poster and said, "30 yrs and not counting cos ur love & smiles have been infinite. Here’s to continuing with #Pathaan. Celebrate #Pathaan with #YRF50 on 25th January, 2023. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. "

Pathaan marks his return to the big screen after his 2018 film, Zero. The film will also star actors Deepika Padukone and John Abraham with Salman Khan making a special cameo appearance. Pathaan is produced by Yash Raj Films headed by Aditya Chopra.
Earlier, director Siddharth Anand made a statement saying, "30 years of Shah Rukh Khan is a cinematic moment in itself in the history of Indian cinema and we wanted to celebrate it with his millions and millions of fans globally. Today is Shah Rukh Khan day and we need to tell the world that. This is team Pathaan's way of saying thank you to Shah Rukh for the countless memories and smiles that he has given all of us in his incredible journey in cinema."
He further added, "He is the alpha man on a mission in this action spectacle that will hopefully set new benchmarks for the action genre in India. When you have Shah Rukh Khan in your film, along with superstars like Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, you have to reach for the stars in every department and I don't think we will disappoint on that promise with Pathaan".
The actor will also be seen in two more films in 2023 -- action-entertainer Jawan with South filmmaker Atlee, also starring Lady Superstar Nayanthara. Jawan is scheduled to release on 2 June 2023 which means that Paathan will be released almost 5 months earlier. Jawan's title announcement dropped couple of weeks back and got great positive response from the public. King Khan will also be seen in the Rajkumar Hirani-directed Dunki, also starring Taapsee Pannu, which is scheduled to release in December 2023.
