It is a known fact that Vishal is acting alongside Shraddha Srinath for an action thriller which was rumoured to be Irumbu Thirai 2. However the makers denied the sequel rumours and stated that it is a fresh film with a new story and premise. The latest update we hear from industry sources is that the film is titled as Chakra.

 In addition to this, we have also been informed that the talkie portions of this film have been wrapped up and that the makers are left with just one song to be shot. Bankrolled by Vishal Film Factory, Chakra has music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. If things go as per plan, we can expect the film to hit the screens by early 2020.  Chakra is directed by newcomer Anand, a former associate of director Ezhil.

Apart from this film, Vishal is gearing up to start shooting for the sequel of Thupparivaalan with director Mysskin. This action spy thriller will have music by Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja. He is also awaiting the release of Sundar C directed Action, which is tentatively scheduled to release on November 15th alongside Vijay Sethupathi's Sangathamizhan. Action features Tamannaah and Aishwarya Lekshmi as the female leads, with Hiphop Tamizha scoring the music.
