Vijay's Vaathi Coming song in Master hits 100 million on Tik Tok

A film that is creating more curiosity with the passage of each day, 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Master under Kaithi director Lokesh Kanagaraj, had been announced for a grand summer release this April. However, the theatrical release of the film as planned earlier for next month looks bleak now owing to the coronavirus outbreak across the world, which has left thousands dead. As the morale around the world is quite low now, it remains to be seen what the makers of Master, Xavier Britto's XB Film Creators banner goes on to decide pertaining to the film's theatrical release.

In the meantime, the response towards the Master album has been phenomenal so far as the smash hit 'Vaathi Coming' song has now been officially announced to have been used over a 100 million times on the popular video-sharing app, Tik Tok. Fans have been posting videos of their own versions of the now highly famous 'Vaathi Stepu' from the 'Vaathi Coming' song after composer Anirudh Ravichander dropped an invitation not long back.

Expectations for Master remain high among fans as the film will see 'Thalapathy' Vijay squaring off against 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi, who plays the antagonist and his addition has no doubt been a major highlight right from the beginning. Apart from Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi, Master also includes Malavika Mohanan playing the female lead alongside Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Andrea Jeremiah, Kaithi villain Arjun Das, Nassar, 96 actress Gouri Kishan, Sanjeev, Srinath, Sriman, Nagendra Prasad, Dheena, Ramya Subramanian, Ramesh Thilak, Prem, Azhagam Perumal, Chetan, Brigada Sagaya, Lintu Rony among others in major supporting roles.
