Corona Virus claims legendary Beatles collaborator Cy Tucker!

The raging COVID-19 Corona Virus pandemic is affecting thousands of people and claiming lives in increasing numbers, every single day. Irrespective of whether a person is rich or poor, popular or common, the virus is causing deaths at an alarming rate. As of now, the only prevention seems to be self isolation & social distancing. Many top celebrities including Tom Hanks, his wife Rita Wilson, Idris Elba, British royal Prince Charles and many others have tested positive for the Corona Virus and are under quarantine & undergoing treatment. However, in an unfortunate turn of events, the Virus has claimed a life, its first from Liverpool, in the UK!

Legendary musician Cy Tucker, who is known for his pop music was diagnosed as being positive for the Corona Virus, last week. He was tested positive after performing a gig on Saturday! However, as he was already suffering from diabetes and heart ailments, combined with old age, the Corona Virus compounded the situation & he breathed his last on Tuesday (March 24th), at the Royal Liverpool Hospital where he was undergoing treatment. This comes as a huge loss to his family members who expressed their grief through a formal statement.

Cy Tucker is famous for performing in pubs and thousands of stages. He became popular when performing alongside the legendary Beatles, along with the band Earl Preston and the TTs! Tucker was also a part of the "Merseybeat Scene", where he has worked with & performed alongside many iconic legends!
